Organising my digital life β continued. I've spent some more time thinking about and looking at options for how I want to craft my thoughts. Not the tools I want to use but more the way I want to publish, if at all. Do I need a website beyond what I already have or am I happy with it as it is. I've primarily been using it for micro posts but now that I have settled into a good routine I want to start writing longer posts.
I have been spending quite a bit of time trying to decide how best to arrange my digital life. In particular, longer thoughts or posts but also my photos. Do I connect everything to the one website? Do I keep everything on micro.blog? Do I need a new stand alone domain? Do I use sub-domains pointing at different host sites? Should I treat writing differently to photos or see them all as a blog entry?

With regard to the last point, I've decided it doesn't matter.
On Sunday I spent a lovely afternoon and evening catching up with my best friends from high school and their partners. The β80s seems so long ago but also just like yesterday when weβre together. Distance means we only manage it every few years now but I feel blessed to have friends in my life that have been there for 40 years. We slip into a comfortable groove thatβs been slowly deepened and smoothed over the course of shared adventures, highs and lows, probably way too many drinks, and much much laughter.
Early in January I decided I’d rewatch Doctor Who beginning with 9 and hopefully finishing before 13’s final episode. I’ve just finished the 50th anniversary episode, which I thoroughly enjoyed the first time and on every viewing since. #doctorwho πΊ
I thought I’d set up a little space on the web. Not entirely sure what I will do with it but I decided I needed some little projects for my spare hours. It might just end up a collection of thoughts on Doctor Who with some assorted ramblings on Star Trek. All interspersed with photos of the cat. Who knows. Let’s see where it will go.
